Automatic Target Recognition

Automatic Target Recognition (ATR) is the capability to detect, classify, and identify targets based on sensor data.
It is defined broadly across a wide spectrum of fields, both within and outside of the Department of Defense. Essentially, ATR converts incoming data into information, actionable and useful to a user.

At AOS, we focus on rapidly processing 2-D and 3-D data streams to extract relevant information to the application at hand. We work to implement our technology and products in real-world applications. Our testing and development uses input data from sensors in realistic environments to improve performance and robustness.
